On October 10, 2023, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District - Hanoi issued Decision No. 2188 QĐ-UBND regarding the establishment of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is a social organization that operates under its Charter approved by the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee, adheres to legal regulations, and is subject to state management by the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee and relevant departments in its fields of activity.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association has legal status, its own seal, and bank account in accordance with current State regulations. It is financially independent, managing its own funds, office space, and operational resources. The decision was signed on October 10, 2023, and took effect from the date of signing.

The formation of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is expected to contribute to promoting and enhancing the quality of tourism services in the district (illustrative photo).

According to representatives of the Founding Committee of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association, the Association will serve as a bridge between businesses, organizations, and individuals legally engaged in tourism, tourism services, and related activities, and relevant authorities to address challenges and create favorable conditions for the sustainable and effective business operations of its members.

At the same time, the Association will contribute to promoting and enhancing the image of tourism, improving the quality of tourism services in Hoan Kiem District, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country. It also fosters connections, cooperation, and mutual support in terms of economy, technology, business, services, market stabilization, enhancing the value and quality of tourism products, and improving the competitiveness of its members domestically and internationally. It also represents and protects the legitimate rights and interests of its members in accordance with the law.

According to the representative of the Founding Committee, the Decision to establish the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is even more meaningful to its members, as it was signed on October 10, 2023, coinciding with the 69th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023).
