The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi) has recently issued Document No. 2188/QĐ-UBND, allowing the establishment of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is a social organization that operates based on its Charter approved by the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee, complies with legal regulations, and is subject to state management by the district's People's Committee and relevant departments in the field of its activities.

The Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association has legal status, its own seal, and bank account in accordance with the current regulations of the State; it is financially self-sufficient, with its own office and operational means. The decision was signed on October 10, 2023, and took effect from the date of signing.

According to representatives of the Founding Committee, the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association will serve as a bridge between businesses, organizations, and individuals legally engaged in the tourism and tourism-related services sector, and the relevant authorities to address challenges and facilitate sustainable and effective business operations for its members.

Furthermore, the association aims to promote and enhance the image of tourism, improve the quality of tourism services in Hoan Kiem District, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the capital and the country. The association also fosters connections, cooperation, and mutual support in terms of economy, technology, business, and services, stabilizes the market, enhances the value and quality of tourism products, and boosts the competitiveness of its members both domestically and internationally. It also represents and protects the legitimate rights and interests of its members in accordance with the law.

According to the representatives of the Founding Committee, the decision to allow the establishment of the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association is particularly meaningful to its members as it was signed on October 10, 2023, coinciding with the 69th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023).
